What do I bring to my first Pole Dancing Class?
For your first pole class Ottawa you will want to stay hydrated and bring water. Since you are probably not used to spinning on pole for an hour you may feel a little bit dizzy the first time. This is why you want to drink lots of water and make sure to have a light snack an hour before class. We recommend wearing leggings and a tank top to first class as well you may like to bring socks so you can slide around on the floor.
How will I feel after my first class?
Usually the second day after your first pole dancing class your arms may feel sore. This is because you were just training your upper body to lift yourself up so your muscles are growing and your stabilising muscles have come out to play!
How often should I take Pole Dancing?
We recommend starting with a 6-week Pole Virgins class here at Cherry Blossom Aerial Dance Studio. Practicing what you have learned in class twice a week at our pole practice times or on your pole at home will get you faster results. You will build your strength quicker just by practicing on your own twice a week. If you start to get the itch to come to more than one pole dancing class a week we have memberships for that, that are not too expensive.
